How Can I Teach?

Becoming a Totus Tuus teacher is a tremendous experience and presents a unique challenge by placing college students in a position to evangelize the youth of the Catholic Diocese of Wichita.  "Evangelization is the most powerful and stirring challenge which the Church has been called to face from her very beginning," (Veritatis Splendor, 106).

TOTUS TUUS TEACHERS ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE ... and with great joy!  The teachers come to know and love the vitality, faith, and courage of the young people they encounter.  Teachers will find that the youth are undeniably hungry for a greater understanding of the Truth contained in the Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, which is guided by the Magisterium.

Young people are seeking not just role models, but HEROES who are striving to live and proclaim, "Lord, I will be totally yours!"  With joy and honor, Totus Tuus teachers serve these young people .  Therefore, teachers dedicate their summers entirely to the youth, leading them into a deeper Communion with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
